Neighbourhoods

Stimulating culture in neighbourhoods and homes is the focus of Creative Neighbourhoods. This is not just about garden made from recycled productshomes, bricks and mortar, but about the people who live in them.

European Neighbours Day

Four Corners- Four Corners is now in its 3rd year and it is a Neighbourhoods' Capital of Culture project. It is a city-wide creative neighbourhoods regeneration programme working with residents, cultural organisations and neighbourhood services.

It seeks to examine the life of Liverpool's communities by reflecting significant changes - capturing memories, aspirations and supporting community cohesion through positive messages.

At its most basic level Four Corners aims to promote community cohesion and values through the creative process.  To address these issues directly and on a far wider level Liverpool Culture Company intends to work in partnership with Registered Social Landlords, residents associations, faith groups and LCVS in promoting and facilitating an array of activity on European Neighbours Day, May 27th.

This activity aims to bring residents together to promote community cohesion- from simple meet and greets to gatherings at community venues etc where residents can celebrate the occasion through various means and mediums as encouraged or devised by our partners.
